Community Participation Calendar

The building committees are composed of teachers, parents, and administrators. These committees meet with the architects and contractors on a regular basis to review education specifications, discuss options for placement of a new school on the site, and foster communication with the school community.  Committee members receive e-mail notifications of the meetings, including access to documents that will be discussed at the meetings. The public is welcome to attend these meetings.

The Community Partners meetings are composed of representatives of organizations that are located within the boundaries of the school community. For example, the Bryant School’s Community Partners group includes Helena College, Helena Housing Authority, Food Share, Florence Crittenton Home, Friendship Center, YMCA and the 6th Ward and Mid-town Neighborhood Association.  The Community Partners meet as needed.  Committee members receive e-mail notifications of the meetings. The public is welcome to attend these meetings, which are posted on both the Community Partnerships calendar.

Community Workshops or Meetings are public gatherings where community members receive updates and progress reports from the architects and the school district.  These meetings are scheduled at key points during the project.  The public is encouraged to attend these meetings, which are posted on both the Community Partnerships calendar.
